DETOUR TO FUN!

Due to major construction of Highway 50 during the summer of 2008, there will be a major detour that will reroute westbound traffic from Highway 50 in Lake Geneva. As such, here are some helpful hints in navigating these potential detours.

"The Scenic Route" from downtown Lake Geneva

  1. Travel North on Broad Street (away from the Lake) (0.5 miles from Main Street)
  2. Broad Street will merge left and becomes Williams Street (0.3 miles)
  3. Turn left on County Road H/ George Street (3.1 miles)
  4. Turn left on Palmer Road (2.8 miles)
  5. Turn left on Hwy 67 (1.3 miles)
  6. Turn right on Hwy 50/ WI-50 (0.4 miles)
  7. Look for us on your left side!

From Grand Geneva (All Highways)

  1. Travel West on Hwy 50/ WI-50 from Grand Geneva toward Lake Geneva (0.2 miles)
  2. Immediately merge right onto Hwy 12 W towards Madison (6.7 miles)
  3. Take exit 321 to merge onto I-43 S towards Beloit (2.5 miles)
  4. Take exit 25 for WI-67 toward Elkhorn/ Williams Bay (3.9 miles)
  5. Turn right on Hwy 50/ WI-50 (0.4 miles)
  6. Look for us on your left side!

From I-43 North from Milwaukee

  1. Take exit 25 for WI-67 toward Elkhorn/ Williams Bay (3.9 miles)
  2. Turn right on Hwy 50/ WI-50 (0.4 miles)
  3. We are ahead on your left side!
OR
  1. Take exit 21 for WI-50 toward Delavan
  2. Turn left from the exit and continue on Hwy 50 (4.3 miles)
  3. We are ahead on your right side just before Hwy 67!

From I-43 South from Beloit/ Rockford

  1. Travel on I-43 N toward Milwaukee
  2. Take exit 21 for WI-50 toward Delavan
  3. Turn right from the exit and continue on Hwy 50 (4.3 miles)
  4. We are ahead on your right side just before Hwy 67!
